Simba + Comfy Bed = HAPPY BABY!
Bryan snapped these photos on two different occasions both of which we were trying to get ready to go somewhere... The first one and the video are Kayson in the morning while Bryan and I got ready one day and the second one is before church, after I'd gotten him all ready to go. Simba(aka: The Lion King) is a great pass time while we get dressed and get stuff gathered to head out the door...........

Celebrating 8 Years!
I wanted to recognize a very special day not only for my Dad but for my family as well... The 8th anniversary of my Dad's transplant was on February 17th. ( I know I am a bit behind but better late than never) 8 Years ago, on Tuesday, my Dad underwent a 5 organ transplant in Pittsburgh, PA. I wanted to just take a minute and tell him how much he means to me and how much I admire him. He has incredible faith and more strength and determination than anyone I know. I am so blessed and so lucky to be able to call him Dad! The pictures below are shortly after the transplant in the recovery room. Whenever I see these pictures they make me smile and they bring a feeling of warmth and happiness in what I remember being such a trying time for my family!
A beverage, a little humor, and some great music enough said!!!!!
The doctor on the far left was the "main doctor"- Dr. Kareem-, but one of many people involved who made this opportunity possible for my Dad........ I don't know alot about him but I know he is a great man and someone that my Dad holds in high regard!!!

Winter Fun
I feel the need once again to break up the Kayson posts, while they are entertaining a change of scenery is always good.My Dad and I went on a snowmobile ride last week. The weather and the snow was pretty good. We left from the farm in Station Creek and rode to Franklin Basin via Worm Creek Basin, then made the loop around Bloomington and back home. It always makes me smile when I see the convoys of would be snowmobiler's trucking up the canyon when I can set out right from the farm, go anywhere they can, and be home by lunch time without ever loading a sled on a trailer.
Last week I also decided to see just how old and fat I really am. I snowshoed from the Richmond gun range to the top of City Creek, and then snowboarded back down. This Picture was taken at lunch time at about the half way point.
This picture was taken at a cookie break. I am almost to the top, Cherry peak is in the background. Unfortunately my camera battery died and this was the last picture of the day so you will have to take my word for it that I made it to the top because I don't think I will be doing it again anytime soon.........5 hours to the top, and 40 Minutes of great powder to the bottom.Created for your reading pleasure by Royal Princess Academy at 9:30 AM 8 comments

What's not to like???
Seriously- as the shirt states....."What's not to like?"
I took these pics yesterday while our Monkey was bein a goofball!! He is getting funner by the minute.... His latest "thing" is scrunching up his little nose when he laughs or is being silly and he also does it when he is about to do his "fake cry"! (I say FAKE cry because that is exactly what it is- it's rather pathetic lol )I was hoping to get a good picture of the new face but my camera just isn't fast enough- one of these days we will capture it.... Kayson is also 7 MONTHS OLD TODAY! My goodness how the months are flying!!!!

True BLUE Aggie Fans~
Saturday my Mom and little sisters came down for a few hours to visit and hang out! Although we missed my Dad greatly, we had a good time and Kayson was most definitely the center of attention.... They headed home when, we Aggie Fans (Jason, Jenna, Bryan and I), headed to the game Saturday night. My battery was dead or I would have taken more pictures, but we did get this one just after the Aggie Game. With the help of my adorable little sisters who are quite skilled in the letter painting department (cheerleaders are good at that)- we made our very own CUSTOM Aggie Binky! HAHA- turned out pretty cute I think and I can take it on and off whenever I want! I have been looking for an Aggie Binky so I was pretty excited. We think it was their good luck charm, it was a close game and frustrating at times, but they won and that's all that matters!!! Thanks girls and it was so fun to spend the day with you all. We missed you Dad, but we'll see you soon!!!! Thanks to Mom and Dad Westerberg for the tickets as well- we are so grateful you share them with us-we sure love ya!!!! :)

Friday I made my annual winter hike up the back side of Pine Hill, and then snowboarded down the face. I got of the "ski lift" just below this cool rock formation.
I made it to the top and took afew pictures to prove I was there. From the picture below I am not the first person to the top.
