January 2012

I just thought I'd throw on a few pics from January! This month flew by surprisingly fast! We went for a few walks on a couple of nice days just to get out of the house and get some fresh air! Kayson always seems to find a stick of some sort he calls them his "walkin sticks" lol. Silly boy.... There isn't much snow, but let me tell you.. where the was snow, Kayson found it and walked all the way through it!

We had a few days that were quite nice and then a few days that we got LOTS of rain and our creek was raging!!! Last year we kinda worried about it in spring, so it was weird having to worry about it in JANUARY, but it never got high enough to come over and it's actually so low right now you wouldn't believe that these pics were taken just two months ago!

BELLY PICS! Let's be honest, I am not a huge fan of taking belly pics, but I do so because eventually I like to be able to look back and I also like being able to compare with the ones we took when I was prego with Kayson. I havn't been very faithful this go around, but I have taken some the ones below are at 31 weeks! Kayson already loves his sister so much and he loves to give her kisses!

I also attempted to recover my car seat...... Bry couldn't figure out the point of covering a car seat that was in perfect condition...... well.... for heavens sake I am having a girl and I want all things girly!!! SO that's reason enough right? I am not a sewer but I am pretty proud of the outcome. I have to have my Mom help me finish the edges and put some finishing touches on it but it's coming along nicely! We can't wait for little miss to get here!!!

I had I wanted to throw this picture (above) on here, also in January...... my awesome hubby ran an ultra marathon. It was called the Wilson Creek Frozen 50k. I was so proud of him! He has been working really hard to get ready and was pretty nervous having never done anything like this. Not to mention they (he and some friends) started out with a bang running a 30 miler! This pic was taken at mile 18.2!!! LOOKIN GOOD! They had some extreme weather conditions to deal with, but they survived and after some deliberation, are now in training for a 50 miler in Pocatello in June! Keep up the good work Hon I am so proud of you! This website tells a bit more about it. http://emilyberriochoa.com/Frozen50k/20-5-mile/

That pretty much sums up our January. Pretty low key! I can't believe that February is half over already! I have made it a personal goal to try and stay caught up with my blog. I think for now with baby coming and everything I will try and do one post at the end of each month. I should be able to handle that right?! We'll see........
