Big Horn..............

Just throwing in a non-Kayson picture. I went on a hike today up City Creek and found some horns. This one was the biggest, my wife was really excited to see anther horn in our bedroom when she came home.

Random pics...........

We had a few REALLY nice days at the beginning of the week and Kayson and I took advantage of them..... I have to admit my house got seriously neglected due to spending endless hours outside soaking up the spring sun..... it was fabulous!Kayson is quite fascinated with the grass...... he pulls out handfuls and then trys to hurry and shove them in his mouth before I can stop him..... after several attempts I decided ah what the heck he is a boy and boys eat stufff..... no harm done right?I had to post these next two.... I was taking pictures of Bath time (what is it with a mother's need to take photos of her baby in the tub..... those cute rolls and chubby tummy can't go unnoticed I guess.....?) Anyway- I couldn't seem to snap one with out Kayson talking my ear off so in both of these he is telling me quite the story.....This pic is for Kel- she got us this shirt... it says Gimme a High Five and a Four Wheel Drive.... SO cute and that's one of Kayson's newest tricks- giving high fives!!!!! AND Last but not least..... yet ANOTHER pic of My Monkey watching Simba- can you say COMFY or what hahahahaha........

First Sleepover~

We wanted to thank Grandma Smith for having Kayson on Tuesday night. I was consumed with Road Show and roped Bryan in as well and Grandma Smith offered to take Kayson for the night. I was reluctant ONLY because I was worried about Grandma- Kayson is such a busy little man and is incredibly heavy and I worried that he'd wear her right out!! As far as Kayson goes I knew he was in good hands and leaving him for the night wasn't at all as hard as I thought it would be!!! When I went to get him on Wednesday morning I found the two of them on the couch quite content reading books, and when I walked in the door Kayson smiled and pointed at me then looked back down at his book, then at Grandma like ,"ANYWAY keep reading"- he didn't even care that I was there..... I was sad for a brief moment :)... I was pleased to hear that he did exceptionally well for Grandma and only woke her up once at 3 AM, AND he didn't really cry at all- GOOD BOY! I have decided we need her to come stay with us so that that will be the case every night!!! :) Right before we left, cousin Jake came and he and Kayson played so cute. They had Grandma and I in tears laughing so hard- I wish sooo bad that I had had a camera. Kayson was growling like Simba again- that is becoming more and more of game for him- I think we watch it a little much :)!! Anyway- THANK YOU GRANDMA SMITH for taking Kayson it was a huge help and it was WONDERFUL to get a good nights sleep!!!! We both had forgotten what that was like and how refreshing it can be- WE LOVE YOU...... (these are just a few pics of Kayson and Grandma Smith that we have accumulated!!!!)

Swings~

On our walk the other day I thought it would be fun to stop at the park and play on the swings and the slide. Kayson loved it and I predict we will be going back as soon as we have another nice day!!!!

Easter~

Happy Easter everyone! We sure had a great weekend... The Easter Bunny found Kayson at Nanna and Bumpa's house in Burley and he came home with 2 new books, 2 new movies (we are crossing our fingers that he likes one of them :) ) and a new big boy church outfit!!!My Cute Easter boy after church waiting patiently for dinner.... he wasn't amused! This is Jason and his darling girlfriend Emily. She had the wonderful opportunity of spending the WHOLE weekend with the WHOLE Pollard Family!!!! OH GEEZ- Our timid nature and gentle personalities I'm sure, are what impressed her the most! This picture was taken on Sunday afternoon just before leaving and she appears to be smiling so hopefully that means that she'll come back someday! We had such a good time with the two of them, they both play a mean game of Egyptian Rat Something (it's a card game that they taught us)...... Bein silly before dinner!Jordan, Jenna, Jayme, Mom and I- If you look closely you'll see Kayson's high chair tray..... yep he was in it eating. The question is.....How many women does it take to feed a baby??? The whole gang....... I must say we are a good lookin bunch!!!!!

Thanks for a great weekend Mom and Dad. There is never a dull moment at your house and always lots of laughs!!!!! On a side note I had to post these pics..... While eating dinner Dad Snapped this pic of Kayson and Papa Morely and I thought it was soooo cute..... After we took the picture Jenna commented on how Kayson was a Jack Jack look alike and When I brought this pic up it made me laugh..... we have Jack Jack Hair!( Jack Jack is the baby on the Disney movie The Incredibles)

P.S. We did color eggs but I failed to take a pic- I was having too much fun. You can't have Easter without colored eggs!!

First Wheeler Ride

Dad and Kayson went on a wheeler ride up at the farm on Friday afternoon. Kayson was pretty content for about an hour or so before he fell asleep. .Kayson was ready to enforce the no Trespassing rules and chase out any rif-raft

BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!!

Judging by the following pics can anyone guess what one of Kayson's most favorite things ever is???? Some of his favorites are Go Dogs Go, Any book with Animals, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and The Peakaboo Book. Although these are his favs he will not protest if you so choose to read him something other than these.. (which I do often because I get so sick of these ones. I recite Go Dogs Go in my sleep) Anyone who will read to Kayson is automatically his best friend!!!

For some reason all I have is pics of all the men reading to him ( they are such cute pics ) But that's not to say that Auntie Bugz, Grandma Smith, Nanna, Grandma Wendy, and I haven't had our fare share of story time!!!! What a cute lil monkey I have. I love that he loves books so much... I am going to try hard to keep that interest alive.

9 MONTHS OLD!!!

Oh My goodness My Kayser turned 9 months yesterday! I can't believe it..... 3 more months and he is a year old. It feels like just yesterday that he was so "little" and new. We have been going outside alot lately and going for long walks (that's the only way I get him to sleep during the day) and playing on the grass whenever the sun decides to come out! Kayson loves being outside and I am excited for this summer to be able to run and play outside whenever his little heart desires! Some of Kayson's favorite things at 9 months are: Books (since the first time I read him a book at 3 months old he's been hooked!), being outside, crawling and getting into mischief all over the place, walking along furniture and trying to run whenever he can, waving and saying "HI"- I do believe that's his first word! He also likes to give High 5, and when he wants to, he gives a hilarious open mouthed, slobbery kiss that I love. Kayson also LOVES Macaroni and Cheese. He loves to tease Bryan and I. He's quite the little jabber box and keeps a very lengthy conversation going. Kayson also LOVES music and whenever he hears it he dances like nobody's business! When we watched conference last Sunday- Kayson danced to all the hymns- silly baby! He has quite the little personality that we absolutely adore. He is so much fun and brings so much joy and laughter into our lives. WE LOVE YOU KAYS MAN~

PS. I know that appears like it's a screw driver but it's actually a measuring spoon...... he LOVES to get into my measuring cup drawer!!

3rd love!

I am so excited to have found a cleaner that I like to use in my kitchen... (:) I know I know if this is what excites me than I need to get out more haha, but bare with me as I share my excitement!!!)Any one who knows me well knows that I am a bit of a clean freak to say the least. Aside from my husband and my son I am IN LOVE with Clorox products and Pine Sol. :) I have also discovered two products recently that I am loving... The Clorox kitchen cleaner- the citrus pine cent- and the clorox any surface cleaner! The smell of both is divine. MMMMMMM- there is nothing better than the smell of clean. (Jess C- if you havn't tried them already this is right upi your alley)
P.S. Kayson's officially crawling- YAY- pics to come!!!!!
