New Furniture????????

I have been wanting to paint my table for quite some time now.... It was my parents and when I moved out they got a new one so I inherited this one...... It was super scratched and chipped and the paint was coming off all over it- SO I decided to paint it........ Some sanding, a coat of primer, and a few coats of paint later ..............DRUM ROLL PLEASE..........

Bada Bing bada boom- and this is my table after! It was quite the project but I am very pleased with the finished product. It turned out nice.... I LOVE IT...

These were the chairs before- given to us by Grandma Arda- I think they are the cutest chairs but they too needed a bit of a face lift.......These are the chairs after.... I got some seat cushions to tide me over till I can find the fabric I want to cover the seats- nonetheless I LOVE them black and I think they turned out great as well.....
This little bench goes with the table and it got a makeover as well of course-

So there ya have it- this is my "new" old table!!!!! AMAZING what a little paint can do...... (I have Sara K to credit for inspiring me to take on a paint project- she does it all the time although I paint furniture and she paints walls.....)

Next up is all the furniture in my bedroom- I can't wait to get my hands on it...........

GO AGGIES!!!

The Aggies had their first season home game tonight and we decided to take Kayson and go cheer them on!!! We wanted to Thank Grandma and Grandpa for the tickets these games are always so much fun and we look forward to a fantastic season... the Aggies are a fairly new team this year with a lot of Freshmen and I think they've got their work cut out for 'em but nevertheless the home games are always a blast and we deffinately enjoy going!
Kayson was so good through the whole game and even got a chance to sit with Aunt Sara and say hi to Auntie Bugz! He was a trooper.... I thought that maybe the noise would bother him but it really didn't!

Congrats Aggies for an awsome win and we look forward to a great season!!!!!!

17 pounder and counting~

Since recently becoming a full time stay-at-home Mommy my days are filled with endless hours of entertainment with this little monkey!!! Oh my goodness he is getting so fun!!! Our newest trick is sitting up ALMOST by himself- He is so smiley and happy all the time it's great! The only struggle we are having at the moment is nap time- Kayson is not a fan but mommy is, so we are working really hard to get Kayser in a routine of naps throughout the day so that we both stay happy and sane!!! :)

Since week 2 Kayson has prefered to stand verses sit or lay so that's what he does all the time- the only difference is now he likes to bounce as well............ such a strong little man!

Mmmmmmm Kayser LOVES his hands they are always in his mouth along with anything he can get his hands ON! We started rice cereal a week or two ago and yesterday decided to try some "yummy" peas... Kayson loved them but holy cow they smell and look nasty- to my surprise he ate them all with no hesitation- I have a feeling my child will eat anything- guess we'll see what happens when we break out the green beans, carrots and squash!!!
These pics crack me up- you can tell exactly how amused he is- the second one was funny, I said,"Roll over" and then he looked up at me like," You want me to do What??" haha it cracked us up!!!!!!Kayser was 4 months old on the 9th and we are scheduled to get our 4 month shots in a week so that won't be very fun but he handled the last set VERY well, they just made him a little groggy, so we'll see what happens. This little stud is so much fun and we love him to pieces! Isn't he SO CUTE???? I LOVE BEIN A MOMMY!!!

Giggles~

Kayson's new thing is giggling... we know of many ways to get him to do so but tonight was funny- he thought bryan was hillarious whenever he said Boo..... so we thought we'd share with everyone! Kayser monkey is getting so fun we love it!!!!

Our "BAD" little biker!!

This is my little stud showing off his muscles.............Oh my goodness I love Halloween but it was MUCH more fun with a baby- and the best part about it is the older he gets the funner it will get- He didn't really know nor did he care I am sure about Halloween but it was SOOO fun to dress him up anyway! I think we might be in the begginning stages of teething so the term " Bad to the Bone" is a good way to describe how our week has been! Thankfully Kayson was such a good sport yesterday and let us dress him up and dote and fuss and take millions of pics as usual! We got this cute onesie from Jess and Kel at one of our showers... and the rest just sort of came together! I made some shaps out of some scrap pieces donated by Dan and Kel!

We had a great day- we got ready at Grandma and Grandpa's house and we ended the evening at Grandma Arda's where Halloween is the biggest day of the year! I wish I would have gotten some pics of the decor but I wasn't thinking....... Kayson was so good and slept on Grandma's lap through most of the festivities....

Happy First Halloween Kayser........ You're such a cute little biker!!!!
