Go Aggies Go Aggies Hey Hey Hey!!!

Last night we went to the Aggie Game- Aggies against Oregon something or other..... (ask Bry he knows ) and we were accompanied by Holly and Rob! Thanks for coming you guys we had so much fun and it was so nice to visit and catch up we really need to do it more often!

For the life of me I could not get these two to smile..... I don't know about Rob but Bry as usual was going for "tough and mean" (Don't ask I think it's a Westerberg thing). Thanks , Hulls, for a fun night..... Let's do it again soon! P.S. The Aggies kicked some serious booty and won by a long shot!

Big Boy!

A few weeks ago we finally mastered the spoon.........

Merry Christmas To All and To All a Goodnight!!

Jason and Em joined us for our annual Christmas tree hunt this year! We usually go on Thanksgiving but, this year, decided to try something new ! We had a good time and in my opinion found the PERFECT tree! I LOVE IT! SO- I know these pics are a little late but, better late than never! (and yes I look like a goober)
BEFORE:

(My handsome husband showing off his mean "tree cutting" skillz)
TA DA!! AFTER:
For Christmas Eve we went to Dan and Kel's an enjoyed a delicious bowl of Clam Chowder and played Quelf with Jess and Kevin and Matt! It was a blast ( however I think the boys were less than amused). The food was great and the company even better. Thanks for a fun night you guys!
We hurried home to wind the K daug down and get him to bed so that Santa could come! I know, I know, I am 25 but I still believe in Santa and he definitely found our house this year (pic below) as did Grandmas and Grandpas AND Aunts and Uncles. Kayson had a fabulous Christmas!
Who knew that a new pair of shoes could be soooo exciting? He made Bry put them on him as soon as he opened them! The Movie, "Cars" is Kayson's favorite right now and he got all kinds of stuff to prove it!
** Just a quick side note- anyone who creates a toy that cannot be shut off should be punished! THANKS MOM!! :) (Just our luck- Kayson loves it!) The batteries are coming out tomorrow.
We spent Christmas Day at the Westerberg's. Fun was had by all- Grandpa took the girls for sled rides behind the snowmobile! Later we bundled Kayson up and he went outside for a tractor ride with Grandpa! Good food, and family, what more could you ask for!

We had A Very Merry Christmas and we feel so blessed for all that we have! We hope that your Christmas was as good as ours........

{WHAT A HAM}

Kayson LOVES to read books.... He goes in his room all the time, climbs on his chair with an armfull of books, and he will just sit and read.... I think it's so dang cute. The other day as I was cleaning up our breakfast mess, I heard him in his room just jabbering away and I went in to find this.......
Then I said "Kayson smile for Mom," and he did this...........

I then said, "No, smile...... show me your teeth." So naturally he did this..............

And finally.............. TA DA..............
I just can't get enough of this little guy!

2 Thanksgivings- Lovin this time of Year!

We had the opportunity of having two Thanksgivings this year! We had Dinner at The Westerberg's on Thanksgiving Day- This is Kayson telling Grandma Smith exactly what he thinks of her dinner......
one half of the bunch.... Sara, Bryon, Audrey, Anna, and Grandpa......Jenna and Grandma Smith.....Bryan, Kel, and Dan.... I really didn't give anyone any warning that I was going to take a picture.... :) sorry guys! Dinner was so good complete with Wendy's ham and homemade stuffing that's wonderful, Dan's yams, and Grandma Arda's gravy and chocolate dessert- it just doesn't get any better than that! Kayson up at the big table!!!!! Oh yes he looks happy- he's holding his own spoon....
Look Mom I can do it all by myself.... isn't he soooo cute! He's got a few bonks and bruises but that's a daily occurrence any more! This was Kayson BEFORE I let him hold his own spoon...... not so happy! This is Matt after dinner...... he hadn't even had dessert at this point.........After dinner.... Kel saddled up the ponies and her horse "Slim" and let the kids ride for a bit..... This is not Kayson's first time on Slim... in fact they have become quite good friends! Kayson has ridden on Slim a few times and LOVES it! So his first ride of the day was this........
Anna Banana smiling for the camera.... waiting for her turn!
Sara and Audrey on Nibbles......Kayson on Nibbles.... Grandpa led him around for a minute and he loved it when they would trot but he quickly realized that these ponies weren't near as fun as the real thing...........so he decided to leave the pony riding to the girls and back on Slim he went......He giggled and jibber jabbered and when it was time to take him off he cried and got so mad! Thanks Kel for letting the kids ride.... Kayson loves it and you! We had a great day- Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for letting us come everything was FABULOUS!!!!! After a lovely dinner at the Westerberg Homestead we (as in Bryan, Jenna, Kayson, Maggie, and I- yes we had a car full) headed to Burley. It was a long drive but we made it and had a FABULOUS weekend. It was the first time in a long time that we were ALL home at the same time..... I sure love my family and appreciate the time we get to spend all together.
On Saturday before our Thanksgiving dinner, my Mom's neighbor agreed to take some family pics- sweet girl- that's not an easy task with this bunch :)!! This is just a few I thought they turned out great- Thanks Nicole~!I had to post this one because I think it's a GREAT pic of both my parents! Aren't they cute :)

My adorable Grandpa with Kayson..... He was tickled pink that Kayson wanted him! Until now Kayson has been afraid of Papa Morley, so you can imagine his excitement when Kayson wanted only him! He's such a sweet man! Kayson coloring AND playing cars at the same time while waiting for dinner.... now that's what I call multi tasking! My cousin Trisha and her husband Brian and their 4 girls came to spend Thanksgiving
with us on Saturday. They were SO much fun. Jayme and Kiernan were given the assignment by my Dad, to make name- place settings for the table...... Kayson wanted to help especially since he has to be wherever Aunt Meme is and doing whatever she is doing! This was the lovely table..........And this was my name tag.... great job girls!Kayson ate at the "kid table" with the twins- Brecki and Addi- He did sooooo good and didn't even hardly make a mess..... he LOVED the turkey and ate lots of peas...... what a big boy! All the Men watching a game while the women take a break and gear up for another round of cards- good times~ Trish and Brian, we loved having you guys for the weekend and hope that you had a good time! Bumpa and Kayson- poor guy played too hard and was tuckered right out!
Thanks to both our families for a fabulous holiday!!!!!!! We have so much to be grateful for and we are so blessed..... I LOVE this time of year and I am making an extra special effort to focus on my savior and the true meaning of Christmas this holiday season...... I have two amazing families a wonderful husband, and beautiful, healthy, active little boy that brings me more joy than I could have ever imagined..... life is great! Happy Holidays everyone!
