July has been crazy and Kayson and I have been ON THE GO!!! Bryan is busy with work which has been good, we just wish it wasn't QUITE so hot!!! I just wanted to recap the busy but super fun month we've had....... We have gone to the Logan Aquatic Center twice now.... my sister has come both times and the second time my friend Kensy and her little baby Addison went with us. Kayson has a BLAST and turns into a little fish wich surprised me cause he hasn't been too hot on bath time.
This pool is nice a big and we have has so much fun when we go.... it's a great way to cool off. The pic below is Kayson takin a quick break to have a snack and push the stroller around for a bit before headin back into the water!

This is Kensy and her darling little Addi- Kayson LOVES her and is soooo cute with her.... once she got some food in her belly she was a much happier camper and ended up falling asleep in the water...... Kayson had to keep checking on her to see how she was doin and to tell her to swim!!!

The first time we went Jenna had been sunbathing for a little bit and Kayson, being the little copy cat that he is, decided to give it a try..... silly boy.

There is no fear with this boy when it comes to the pool.... I finally made him put a life jacket on cause he was makin me so nervous..... he was jumping off the side like he saw the big kids doing and he made it very clear that he didn't want ANYONE to catch him!!!

It was makin Aunt Bugz nervous too....... he just GOES whether you are ready or not!

I think there are swimming lessons in our future!

This is after Mom made Kayser put a life jacket on...........

If you look close in the pic below you can see Kayson saying WHOA!!!!!

Bryan has been doing a TON of work in the yard.... I contribute by keeping the flower beds weeded, but the muscle and the brains when it comes to our yard comes from Bry! He has done such a good job and we will posting some pics soon! We went up to the farm one day to gather more rocks, and Kayson was in seventh heaven as usual when helping Dad drive the backhoe..... I thought it was so cute I had to take some pics.... I think it's so cute that they have the same look on their faces and the same glasses!!!!!

Like father like son!

I LOVE my boys.... aren't they handsome?!

When we aren't on the go we enjoy spending time outside..... Kayson likes to play in the pool and on the slide so we got a bit creative and put the slide IN the pool which he LOVES......

In this pic he was saying, " Mom?" "What bud," I'd reply," Atch (Watch)!" he says!!!

At the beginning of the month we packed up and headed to Burley for almost 2 weeks to do fireworks! Kayson loved having Meme (Jayme) all to himself. They played so hard and she taught him sooo many new things! He loves otter pops and they ate alot of them........

Bryan came up on the weekend and had to go back on Sunday the 4th for work Monday morning so, we lit a few small ones that Kayson would like before he left..... the Monter Truck was his favorite!

Bry was the lighter, he's getting ready to light the Happy Lamp.... that's a classic!

This was one of our booths after we got it all set up.... we had 2 booths this year and things went really well! Look at all those fireworks....

This is what Kayson did after each firework that Bry lit....... It's amazing how silly you look when you are trying to entertain a toddler!

This was our bouncy house that we had set up next to the booth, it's great for attracting business!!! We had a great season and we're glad that we have 12 months to gear up for next year!!!!

We got home on the 7th and Kayson's birthday was on the 9th so it was a crazy few days! Bry built him a sand box and we got a backhoe to go in it...... it's been a HUGE hit.... and he plays in it every single day. The sound effects he makes are tooo cute!

When we bought the backhoe we thought for sure it would take a while before he'd figure it out. It says for 3 and up on the box, but boy were we wrong! It took a matter of hours and he had it down to a science....... he scoops the sand up and dumps it in the dump truck!

These are trucks that Bryan got when he was little and he played with, they are perfect for Kayson and they are metal so they will last forever!!!!

Didn't Bry do a good job?!The two pieces on each side of the box are the lid..... we just slide it on and off. We wanted to be able to cover it for alot of reasons and it turned out great!

The day after Kayson's Birthday, just before my family left to head home we went to first damn in Logan to feed the ducks and have lunch! He LOVED it.... and boy are they friendly. They probably get fed all the time so they new what was comin!

That night I let Kayson do some sparklers.... we had done them ON his birthday, but there was so much going on that I didn't get any pics so I let him do some more so that we could get some fun pictures of it!!! HE LOVES FIREWORKS....... I guess he's a boy through and through.

This was the only pic that we got of the fireworks we did on his birthday thanks to Kel! He was right out there with Bryan, "helping" him light them off. It was so cute how intrigued he was.... good thing Dad was there to help him~!

This Birthday Boy is getting so big and it makes me sad! We are having SO MUCH FUN with him, but he's growing up way to fast! He ate his cake without hardly making a mess at all, and the one time that he did get some on his hands, he wanted me to wipe it off immediately lol!

We were so glad to have our families there, and we wanted to thank everyone for coming and helping to make it a special day for Kayson! He loves them all soooo much!!

Kayson and his Grandma A-DA! He loves this woman and so do we.... she is amazing!

We had a wheeler cake which Kayson thought was AWESOME, and he eagerly blew out the candle.

Uncle Tio and Aunt Em got him some squirt guns that were a HUGE hit.... he quickly figured out what they did and how to use them and he was spraying EVERYONE, which is ok when it's your birthday! :)

Even Bumpa got in on some of the squirt gun fun!

Grandma Wendy ooing and awing over Kayson's new stuff!!! :) Too cute!

Watch out...... he's a man on mission.

He got so many great things and he LOVED them all...... It's a good thing that Anna and Audrey were there to help him out!

We sure LOVE this little boy.... he is such a joy and constatly makes us laugh!

Here's to turning 2! We love you Kays and we are so glad that you are part of our family!

These pics are a little out of order but this is the sand box before we put the sand in.......

And the backhoe just after it got opened!!

Here's to turning 2! We love you Kays and we are so glad that you are part of our family!
Whew that was a long post sorry...... thanks for reading and now that I am all caught up, I am outta here for a few days..... He is so cute!!! He looks like he is tons of fun!! :)
You have been busy. Thanks for posting the great pictures. I think Bryan will be envious when he learns that Richard's sandbox has a blue tarp stapled on to two-by-fours for a cover. It is really "pretty."
Gee, I wish poor Kayson could have a little attention or some fun activities...
Love, love, LOVE the photo of him and Bryan in the backhoe.
