Mother's Day~

So... yesterday morning I woke up to find this card on my bar!! My husbad was sweet enough to acknowledge that this was my FIRST of many Mother's Days!!!! This card is a prime example of the humor my husband has... he cracks me up..... (click on the pictures if you want to read better what it says)

It's so crazy to think I am going to be a Mom!!!!!! AHHHHHHH- I hope I am cut out for the job. Being a Mom is such a special and important role~ I wanted to say thanks to the Mother's in MY life who are special and dear to my heart, first and foremost MY Mom- What in the world would I do without her- She is such an incredible woman and has taught me so much. Mom- thanks for who you are and all that you do. In many ways we are alot alike and I think you are so special! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH and I am so glad that YOU are my Mom!!!! Second is my Mother-in-Law, Wendy- You are such a sweetheart and it's an honor to call you Mom! Thanks for raising such an amazing son, I am so grateful to have you in my life, thanks for being such a good example and for being the wonderful woman that you are- I love ya!!!!!

This is Wendy with the darling new purse that Bryan picked out to give her for Mother's day!!!! Ok not really, Bry just thought he was being funny.... but we did suggest that she could take it to church and use it for her new scripture bag............ :)

Third, is Arda- Bryan's Grandma- She is the sweetest woman in the world and we LOVE her dearly!!!!! Bryan looks up to her so much and she will always have a special place in both of our hearts! I can't say thank you enough for all that you do.

I would also like to wish a belated Happy Mother's Day to all of the other Mother's in my life, I love you all and hope that you had a WONDERFUL day! I can't wait for July so that I can hug and kiss my little guy and begin the journey of motherhood myself!!!

Very nice tribute to you're mothers and especially your mom. Once a mother always a mother that's unreal isn't it? Hope you enjoy your day and that it was special. Just a few more months and the work then begins. But it will be well worth it.

Love ya Dad

Love that picture of Bryan and Arda! Those Westerberg men have a soft side somewhere deep down!

Bryan and I think alike. I used to have a sign in my kitchen that said, "Only cowards cook on low," which I thought made perfectly good sense. Dan disagrees...and cooks MUCH better than I do!
