{Cousins}

This past weekend we got to hang out at the Westerberg homestead..... the kids had a ball, while Bryan and Sara collected rocks in the field for our yards.... The weather was fantastic and we were able to fully enjoy it!

Anna sunbathing......
Audrey(our little poser) sunbathing......... (this is one of my favorite pics of the day!!!)

Kayson graciously accepting M&M's from Grandma Wendy (she's got him figured out for sure)........

Grandpa brought home a fun pool and PIZZA.... what more could a kid want??? YOGURT, that's what....... do you think I could get my child to eat pizza...... oh well I guess it's the more healthy choice anyway.
While Grandpa was blowing up the pool Audrey and Anna took Kayson on an adventure in Grandma's yard..... they were so cute with him and Anna kept telling him- "Be BRAVE Kayson, be BRAVE!"

almost to the top.....

Yesssss... we made it!!!!

They had a BLAST in the pool..... Anna enjoyed bouncing on it more so than swimming in it....... nonetheless it provided hours of fun!

We had a great time... can't wait to do it again, and the marvelous landscaping that derived from the rocks collected will be posted soon!!!!!

{Auntie Meme}

Last week we had the privilege of having my baby sister Jayme come stay with us!!! We had so much fun and LOVED having her here..... Kayson was her little shadow the whole time and loved having someone other than me to play with! Everyone says she is a mini version of me and we are so much alike..... The only difference is she has brown hair and I have blonde! :) These two have so much fun...... can you tell........

Kayson's imagination has just come out full force the last several months, he loves to be anything from a cheetah, to a Tarzan, and most recently a dragon, (anything that growls really), or a dog. While Meme was here she played Dog's and Dragon's with Kayson every day- he was in heaven.... she taught him how to sit and lay, the pic below is the puppies "sleeping" and she even had him licking off the floor pretending to eat (which, might I add, she thinks is hilarious- Mom not so much!) he now flies all over my house and jumps off of things yelling "WHOOOSH" (the flap of the wings apparently says whoosh)...... they had a ball and I am willing to bet that Meme had just as much fun pretending as Kayson did!
This is Kayson helping Meme on facebook!
We went to lunch a movie one day..... we ate at Aggy's restaurant in Logan.. and then we met up with Jenna and saw Shrek #4- Kayson LOVED it, especially the dragon, and sat so good through the whole movie!

Isn't she beautiful!

They fell asleep one night like this after a long day of playing hard and I thought it was super cute.......
we played outside in the pool and went for walks.........

Fun was had by all (the above photo is Kayson being a dog and fetching his shoe...... Bryan gets a kick out of throwing things and telling Kayson "Go Fetch Kayson- go get it puppy", then watching him crawl all over the yard "fetching" things! Silly boys!)
Meme thanks so much for coming, we loved having you and can't wait for your next visit, hopefully soon!!!!!! LOVE YOU!!!!

{Memorial Day}

Kayson and I are in Burley for our monthly hair trip, therefore we got to spend Memorial Day with my family and Grandpa Morley. My Cousin Scott and his little family are living with Grandpa for a few weeks so we have been able to spend some time with them also. We all went to the cemetary on Monday afternoon to visit my Grandma........ It was actually a pretty nice day, a little cloudy but still nice!

Mom, Dad, and Grandpa- isn't he so cute?

Kayson being silly on the way home from the cemetary.....
Later on we had a BBQ. Kayson had his first expirience with corn on the cob and he LOVED it. He ate my piece and then a second one as well. After every bite he'd say "mmmmm"!

What a silly kid we love him to pieces! We are excited to hopefully get some nice weather in the near future and get summer underway!!! We miss you Bry and hope that you are surviving without us.... We'll be home soon.....

Start to Memorial Weekend

Cousin Rusty and Myself started the holiday weekend early. We took off Friday and went to Tony Grove to get one last taste of winter before giving into summer. Top of Mt. Naomi.

We started the day snowboarding, but the conditions made for better snowmobiling so we only made a few runs.

Smithfield canyon.

Back side of Cherry peak.

Ran out of snow until next year........

{Black and White Days}

Last weekend was the annual Richmond Black and White Days..... The parade is our favorite part and this year Kayson was so fun..... he really got into the whole picking up candy thing and candy is one thing that you definitely get at this parade- I think Kayson filled at least half a bag full........ silly boy! The fire trucks at the very end were his favorite, he said," WOOOOW!"

Just chillin..........

He figured out that if he waved then they threw candy at him...... as you can tell I (I mean Kayson) wasn't fast enough at picking it all up, what can I say there was ALOT of candy!
Is that what I think it is??

Yep it's Nibbles with a "cow" hat on...... she is trying to blend in and participate in the festivities!!! (she's thrilled can you tell???)
After the parade Kel and Dan let us take Kayson for a ride behind the wheeler in this little trailer.... we weren't sure how this would go down since Kayson likes to be the one driving but it was a huge hit. He loved it!!!!!! Thanks for a fun evening you guys!
I love this picture... he's just enjoying the ride... lol!

Jackson Trip.................

Here is another break from Kayson photos. Each May 1st a group of us head to Jackson Wyoming for a back pack trip to look for horns, wild life and just explore new country. It has become somewhat of a tradition, here are some photos of this years expedition.

Snow covered Teton Mountains...............

Rusty and Boone at base camp, It would not be May 1st in Jackson with out new snow on the ground.

Me trying to figure out how to get down the mountain side................

Crossing Spred Creek, cold water, and sharp rocks makes for sore feet................

Me enjoying one of the few moments of sun shine on the trip..............

Rusty holding a matched set of elk sheds he found, we walked lots of miles to find those.

Grizzly Bear tracks in the mud................

More signs of wild life...........................

Josh Austin taking a lunch break as the next storm roles in behind him...........

In my old age I need an afternoon nap or I get grumpy, this was a nice dry spot...............

Climbing out of one of the many canyons we went through..........................

One last rest before we make the last push for the truck........we had some long cold nights and some long days hiking but it was great trip.....already making plans for May 1st 2011.....

{Giddy up}

Most of the time Kayson has an audience.... Bryan and I are his biggest fans, BUT the Grandma's and Grandpa's, Aunts and Uncles get a kick out of him too and he can sure put on a show...........

Mom- I think you crack me up just as much as Kayson...... LOL!
