2 Thanksgivings- Lovin this time of Year!

We had the opportunity of having two Thanksgivings this year! We had Dinner at The Westerberg's on Thanksgiving Day- This is Kayson telling Grandma Smith exactly what he thinks of her dinner......
one half of the bunch.... Sara, Bryon, Audrey, Anna, and Grandpa......Jenna and Grandma Smith.....Bryan, Kel, and Dan.... I really didn't give anyone any warning that I was going to take a picture.... :) sorry guys! Dinner was so good complete with Wendy's ham and homemade stuffing that's wonderful, Dan's yams, and Grandma Arda's gravy and chocolate dessert- it just doesn't get any better than that! Kayson up at the big table!!!!! Oh yes he looks happy- he's holding his own spoon....
Look Mom I can do it all by myself.... isn't he soooo cute! He's got a few bonks and bruises but that's a daily occurrence any more! This was Kayson BEFORE I let him hold his own spoon...... not so happy! This is Matt after dinner...... he hadn't even had dessert at this point.........After dinner.... Kel saddled up the ponies and her horse "Slim" and let the kids ride for a bit..... This is not Kayson's first time on Slim... in fact they have become quite good friends! Kayson has ridden on Slim a few times and LOVES it! So his first ride of the day was this........
Anna Banana smiling for the camera.... waiting for her turn!
Sara and Audrey on Nibbles......Kayson on Nibbles.... Grandpa led him around for a minute and he loved it when they would trot but he quickly realized that these ponies weren't near as fun as the real thing...........so he decided to leave the pony riding to the girls and back on Slim he went......He giggled and jibber jabbered and when it was time to take him off he cried and got so mad! Thanks Kel for letting the kids ride.... Kayson loves it and you! We had a great day- Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for letting us come everything was FABULOUS!!!!! After a lovely dinner at the Westerberg Homestead we (as in Bryan, Jenna, Kayson, Maggie, and I- yes we had a car full) headed to Burley. It was a long drive but we made it and had a FABULOUS weekend. It was the first time in a long time that we were ALL home at the same time..... I sure love my family and appreciate the time we get to spend all together.
On Saturday before our Thanksgiving dinner, my Mom's neighbor agreed to take some family pics- sweet girl- that's not an easy task with this bunch :)!! This is just a few I thought they turned out great- Thanks Nicole~!I had to post this one because I think it's a GREAT pic of both my parents! Aren't they cute :)

My adorable Grandpa with Kayson..... He was tickled pink that Kayson wanted him! Until now Kayson has been afraid of Papa Morley, so you can imagine his excitement when Kayson wanted only him! He's such a sweet man! Kayson coloring AND playing cars at the same time while waiting for dinner.... now that's what I call multi tasking! My cousin Trisha and her husband Brian and their 4 girls came to spend Thanksgiving
with us on Saturday. They were SO much fun. Jayme and Kiernan were given the assignment by my Dad, to make name- place settings for the table...... Kayson wanted to help especially since he has to be wherever Aunt Meme is and doing whatever she is doing!This was the lovely table..........And this was my name tag.... great job girls!Kayson ate at the "kid table" with the twins- Brecki and Addi- He did sooooo good and didn't even hardly make a mess..... he LOVED the turkey and ate lots of peas...... what a big boy! All the Men watching a game while the women take a break and gear up for another round of cards- good times~ Trish and Brian, we loved having you guys for the weekend and hope that you had a good time! Bumpa and Kayson- poor guy played too hard and was tuckered right out!
Thanks to both our families for a fabulous holiday!!!!!!! We have so much to be grateful for and we are so blessed..... I LOVE this time of year and I am making an extra special effort to focus on my savior and the true meaning of Christmas this holiday season...... I have two amazing families a wonderful husband, and beautiful, healthy, active little boy that brings me more joy than I could have ever imagined..... life is great! Happy Holidays everyone!

Hang on and Enjoy the Ride............

{NOT A HAPPY CAMPER}

I just had to post these for fun. The other day we put Kayson in his car seat and he was NOT happy about it. After Bry buckled him in this is what he did for about 10 minutes........ Then I SWEAR he flashed me the "LOSER" sign when I asked him what was the matter.............

Then we got this..................

Then this....................

And finally................ Let it all out little man cause your not getting out of that seat! Darn it..... (I am pretty sure that Mom and Wendy just went, "Ahhhhh!" But trust me...... it was the fakest cry I have ever heard!)

{33 YEARS OLD}

Yep my Handsome Hubby turned 33 on the 5th! Don't worry Hon your not THAT old!! ;) LOVE YOU, and I hope you had a fabulous day. This is one of the several cards that Bryan received.... but I had to post a picture of it because it's absolutely PERFECT........ So funny- and yes that is an actual sticker so I just wanted to let my parents know that Bry will be bringing this with him when we come home for Thanksgiving just in case we go out in public!!! ;) Bryan loves pumpkin pie- so I got brave and decided to make one from scratch- crust and all! It turned out darn good if I do say so myself........ Kayson decided to help Dad blow out the candles....

{HALLOWEEN}
Those big black cats head's move..... they are so darn cute!This is Kayson and Auntie Bugz getting ready to go trick or treating. Well ok, Jenna wasn't going trick or treating she was going to the Howl in Logan- isn't she a cute pirate?This is my MONKEY! Literally I call him Monkey so I thought it would be fitting to dress him up as one for Halloween. He loved his tail- he held it and carried it when he walked it was soooo cute. I was so proud of him he didn't touch his ears ONCE the whole night. These pics are right after Tio (Uncle Jason) and Aunt Em came by and left some candy in Kayson's bag while he was napping. By the end of the night he was ok with leaving the candy in the bag but the first few he wanted to eat immediately.(Here Mom open it please!)I tried to make it a fun week for Kayson and we did some fun Halloweeny activities..... On the worst day of the week, it snowed and so I decided it was a perfect day to stay in our jammies, turn on the fireplace, and make some Halloween sugar cookies.... Kayson LOVED it and was such a big helper! Kayson is deep in conversation with Bugz in this picture. He's tellin her what we're doin!Kayson and Bugz being goof balls..... Thanks for comin to play with us Jenn!!............ and in case you were wondering our cookies were FABULOUS!!!!!!

Just a quick video of Kayson at Grandma Arda's.... Silly Boy!

To Spin or Not to Spin????

I have had to recently rethink my workout schedule.... With the weather changing, the ladies that I go walking with decided that it was getting too cold and since we usually take our kids it's getting harder and harder to keep them all warm and happy the whole time! I have really enjoyed the step aerobics class on Mon, Wed, and Fri, however- Bryan likes to play Basketball in the morning and they ONLY play on Mon, Wed, and Fri. So..... WE HAVE A PROBLEM. After some thinking, and deciding that it was probably easier for me to switch my workouts around, then for Bryan to not get to workout at all.... I have decided to try the Step and Spin class on Tues, Thurs, and Sat. I went to my first class on Tues and I LIKED IT alot.... I have never done spinning and I must say IT REALLY KICKED MY BUTT. But I am excited to go again tomorrow and give it a second try... I think I am really going to like it. Any advice would be much appreciated. Wish me luck!
P.S. Halloween pics are coming soon..... I just have to convince my camera that it would be much happier if I could get all the pictures off of it and onto my computer!!!!! When that happens we will have alot of posting to do!! :)
